The Tupac hologram that debuted at Coachella during Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's set may be going on tour with the two rappers - if they can figure out how to do it, of course.

The Wall Street Journal reported the two are in talks for a tour involving the Tupac hologram.

Figuring out the logistics of the tour is proving to be difficult.

One option would be bringing in other hip-hop stars, like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Wiz Khalifa to go along on the tour with the Tupac hologram.

Or they could stage a more limited tour with only Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and the Tupac hologram in smaller venues.

To create a completely synthetic human being is the most complicated thing that can be done, Digital Domain's chief creative officer, Ed Ulbrich, said to the Wall Street Journal.

This is just the beginning, Ulbrich said. Dre has a massive vision for this.

A person familiar with the discussions told the Wall Street Journal that a tour with the Tupac hologram was likely but not guaranteed as of yet. If the tour were to go forward, there would have to be months of creative and technical planning, the source said.

Tupac Shakur died more than 15 years ago but was resurrected via hologram for a performance Sunday night alongside producer Dr. Dre and rapper Snoop Dogg.

The Tupac hologram was created by Digital Doman Media Group, Inc. and cost an estimated $100,000 - $400,000 to make. According to reports, Dr. Dre was given a 'blank check' to make it happen.

Tupac was shot to death in 1996 at the age of 26. His murder was never solved.
