Twin Peaks: Foggy San Francisco and Colorful Hillside Houses
A must-visit spot on every tourist's list of places to visit while in San Francisco is Twin Peaks.
Twin Peaks is the name given to two virtually identical summits, standing at an elevation of around 922 feet. As the second highest point in the city, they provide a stunning, 360 degree view in all of San Francisco.
When the view is clear, it's definitely the place to be for out-of-towners. However, when enshrouded in fog, the place offers a dreamlike experience and makes the visitors feel as if they are walking in the clouds, if not transported to another world!
Twin Peaks offers a great hiking opportunity too as hikers can enjoy watching the colorful residential houses that dot the base of Twin Peaks.
So if you're in the mood of embarking on a refreshing, liberating adventure, visiting Twin Peaks is the best choice you can make. But do pick a sunny day if you want to see the breath-taking, sweeping, panoramic view of the city.
