Twitter Unveils 'The Batman' Exclusive Poster Featuring Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz [Photo]
Twitter Movies official handle shared an exclusive poster of the highly anticipated movie, "The Batman", featuring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz as the Bat and the Cat respectively, Wednesday.
In the poster, Batman and Catwoman can be seen standing on the roof of a building and looking at the city during sunrise. While Pattinson as Batman has an angry look, Kravitz's sharp claws grabbed most of the attention.
"We can’t decide who we want to get our claws into more," Twitter Movies wrote. "This is your EXCLUSIVE look at the Bat and the Cat. #TheBatman, in theaters March 4."
Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions.
One fan compared Kravitz's look with "Spider-Man: No Way Home" fame Zendaya and wrote, "Look at her Clear than zendaya" while another fan commented, "I'll watch it but I don't think he looks nothing like Bruce wayne."
"Still can’t believe Pattison [sic] is playing Batman. That’s like… Michael Cera playing Thor," a user wrote. Another fan commented, "Imagine continuing Batman’s adventures and establishing a live-action movieverse instead of rebooting two pages of his Year One adventures into trilogies every five years."
Another fan suggested that the Marvel Cinematic Universe should follow the footsteps of the DC Extended Universe and recreate Captain America.
"It seems that putting an article before the name of the superhero becomes a trend. Maybe Marvel should also copy "THE" 'DCEU' where The Captain America is the new. Since they need to reboot the Fantastic The Four, The 'X' The Men the Avengers the Asguardian of the Galaxies," the fan suggested.
A user commented, "So glad The Bat And The Cat have a gorgeous poster for #TheBatman & Batman & Catwoman look incredible against the gorgeous sunset of Gotham!"
"The Batman" is slated to release in theaters on March 4, 2022, and will start streaming on HBO Max from April 19. The two-minute, 39 seconds trailer of the movie dropped on Twitter last month.
Batman was first introduced in DC comics released March 30, 1939. The upcoming movie is a reboot of the Batman movie franchise helmed by director Matt Reeves.
Besides "The Batman," Kravitz will also feature in a crime thriller, "Kimi," which is slated to release on Feb. 10, 2022. Pattinson, on the other hand, featured in two movies released in 2020 — "The Devil All the Time" and "Tenet."
