The show's steamy love triangle has proven to be one of the most engaging plots on TV. It seems TV execs have taken notice of the immense popularity of The Vampire Diaries since they have chosen to renewed the the show for a fourth season!

The announcement proves just how crucial the show is to the network's ratings, since almost all of the other CW shows have yet to be picked up for the fall. They're making decisions about their future. Do I stay or do I go? And no, there will not be a Mystic U. Grams taught at a nearby university and Jenna was getting her masters degree, so there's something out there that we'll be introducing and seeing in season four. Looks like she's not spilling any romantic news, bummer.
