'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Has Jeremy Moved On From Bonnie? Watch A Sneak Peek Video For Episode 9, 'I Alone'

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 has not been kind to Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). He doesn’t know that Bonnie (Kat Graham) is trapped in 1994, and he hasn’t handled Bonnie’s death well. In fact, he has spent most of Season 6 getting drunk and hooking up with random girls. Now Jeremy is finally moving on and getting back into shape in a new sneak peek video from Season 6, episode 9.

In the clip, Jeremy teases Elena (Nina Dobrev) for running slower than he. It seems that Jeremy is getting healthy again.

“Two weeks without booze doesn’t make you Iron Man,” Elena says. “I could still vamp circles around you.”

“You mean you could cheat,” Jeremy says.

“Or I could pants you in front of the entire women’s volleyball team,” she threatens.

“Doubt they’d mind,” Jeremy jokes.

Elena isn’t used to this new and improved Jeremy. He is sober, happy and healthy. He doesn't seem to be sad or brooding at all. She questions why he suddenly changed his entire personality. She wants to know where her brother went.

“He canceled Bonnie’s cell phone, cried till there was nothing left and got all of the grief out of his system,” Jeremy explains. "He is ready to move on."

That’s great -- except Elena knows that he might not have to move on. They’re trying to bring Bonnie back. Jeremy can tell something is wrong with Elena and asks what’s up.

“It’s about Bonnie,” she says.
