‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Spoilers: Episode 11 Synopsis, Promo Video And Photos Released
Damon’s humanity is back on “The Vampire Diaries,” but this time, that isn’t good news. He is still committed to taking souls for Cade, and that means his killing spree can’t be over yet. It seems Cade will push Damon to his limits in Season 8, episode 11.
“Cade (Wolé Parks) returns to Mystic Falls and presents Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) with additional assignments, each with unthinkable consequences,” the synopsis teases. The promo video for episode 11 reveals that Damon will be told to kill Caroline (Candice King). Stefan doesn’t seem to be nearly as conflicted about it as Damon is.
“She’s just a stupid girl,” Stefan says in the trailer above. Stefan’s assignment has not yet been revealed.
A TV Guide clip reveals that Damon seems to have much stronger willpower than his brother. He tries to abandon Cade’s mission, but Cade makes his position clear: “Our arrangement is very clear. Do as I say, and you won’t go to hell. Disobey me, and I send you there to stay.”
Caroline isn’t the only one in danger. Damon can either kill Caroline or 100 people, so she’ll be trying to save the rest of the town as well. “Even with tension growing in their friendship, Caroline and Matt (Zach Roerig) do their best to protect the town’s residents from Cade’s appetite for their souls,” the synopsis reveals.
It doesn’t seem like Bonnie (Kat Graham) will be around to help her besties. She’ll be busy protecting the bell that could destroy her whole hometown. Of course, there will still be time for romance. “Bonnie and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) hit the road on a romantic trip, taking the bell with them in hopes to keep it safe,” the synopsis says.
Episode 11 is titled “You Made A Choice To Be Good,” which is something Elena (Nina Dobrev) once said to Stefan. With the younger Salvatore embracing his ripper desires, he’ll have to make that choice again soon.
“The Vampire Diaries” Season 8, episode 11 airs Friday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
