Katie Maloney has officially filed for divorce from Tom Schwartz.
The "Vanderpump Rules" star filed the legal papers in Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday, People reported.
The filing came a week after Maloney, 35, and Schwartz, 39, announced via their respective Instagram accounts on March 15 that they are calling it quits following 12 years together.
"After 12 years on an adventure through life together, Tom and I are ending our marriage," Maloney wrote alongside a series of throwback photos of her and Schwartz. "This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship."
"Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another's happiness. Thank you for all the kind words and support," she continued.
In his own statement, Schwartz said he "fully respect[s] Katie's decision" and they had "healthy, productive conversations" about their relationship.
He added that they "had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanly possible over the course of our relationship" and that Maloney has "taught me so much about love [and] being a better partner."
Schwartz and Maloney's romance was explored on "Vanderpump Rules" since the series debuted in 2013, and they even tied the knot on-screen.
Over the weekend, the exes were photographed grabbing lunch together at Mister O's in Studio City, Los Angeles, Saturday. In photos obtained by TMZ, the former couple sat at a table in a back corner on the outside patio and ordered drinks.
Unnamed eyewitnesses told the outlet that Schwartz and Maloney appeared "disinterested in each other" and often looked at their mobile phones while at the restaurant.
The onlookers also claimed that the former couple just talked during the "fairly long" lunch date and that there was "zero evidence of affection" between them.
On Friday, Maloney went into detail about her decision to end her marriage with Schwartz on her "You're Gonna Love Me" podcast. The reality star explained that while the breakup may have seemed abrupt to fans, it had actually been "building up" for months.
"It got to a point where it felt like I was going to burst. For months it was building up," Maloney shared. "I felt disconnected, I felt like I was drifted away further and further, I felt like I was drifting. And I couldn't stop it."
"I love Tom, we built a life together, and he was my person and I wanted to be him with forever. But ultimately, I just wasn't happy," she added.
Maloney and Schwartz started dating in 2010 and got married in front of Bravo cameras in August 2016, though they didn't file the official paperwork to be legally wed until 2019.
