It looks like Mona Scott-Young, the executive producer of the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise, is expanding it to a new city. The VH1 series currently centers on three locations — New York, Atlanta and Hollywood — but rumors recently surfaced claiming that Scott-Young will be taking the show to New Orleans.

Scott-Young and VH1 have not commented on the rumor, but the Shade Room reported that rapper Mystikal and social media personalities 10thWardBuck, his girlfriend Trelly, TokyoxVanity and SupaCent have joined the cast. There is also speculation that rappers Cheeky Blakk and Sissy Nobby will be on the show.

Even though there’s no official confirmation “Love & Hip Hop: New Orleans” is in the works, several of the rumored cast members have told fans through their Instagram and Twitter accounts that they have begun filming of the series.

Currently, “Love & Hip Hop: New York” is getting ready to wrap its sixth season. Peter Gunz’s drama with his wife Amina Buddafly and ex Tara Wallace has been a big storyline for the show. Tara gave birth to her third child with Peter this month, and it’s rumored Amina will announce her second pregnancy during the Season 6 reunion special.

“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” Season 2 concluded in December, and it’s believed “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” will return for its fifth season this year. Singer K. Michelle previously announced she was returning to the Atlanta show’s cast.
