Virginia Man Crushed To Death By Glass At His Job
A man from Danville, Virginia, was crushed to death at work late last month while loading glass onto a truck.
On April 22, Damarcus Laquan Calloway, 24, who worked at Virginia Glass Products in Ridgeway, died after several hundred pounds of plate glass fell onto his body, reports the New York Post. The company manufactures all-glass entrance doors, architectural tempered glass, and laminated glass for commercial construction.
Police were called to the scene prior to 6 p.m. and responded minutes later, but it was too late.
