‘Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: New Photos From Episode 9 Released Before Midseason Premiere
Valentine’s Day is still a couple of weeks away, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to feast on more “Walking Dead.” Although the second half of Season 6 won’t air on AMC until Feb. 14, the network has released some brand new photos from the midseason premiere to keep fans hungry for more.
When viewers last left off almost every character’s life was hanging in the balance. Those at Alexandria were facing walkers in the streets following the fall of the wall. Outside, Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) appeared to catch a break by finding an oil truck. However, their luck ran out when they crossed paths with some of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) people. Fans didn’t get to come face-to-face with the comic book villain just yet, but his followers didn’t prove to be friendly. They demanded that Abraham, Daryl and Sasha exit their vehicle and hand over their weapons and supploes.
A promo poster released earlier this month hinted at what the future holds for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others, but photos from episode 9, titled "No Way Out," tease what is in store immediately when “The Walking Dead” returns.
The newly released photos are single shots of Daryl, Sasha, Abraham and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). In one photo Daryl can be seen bloody alongside the truck. Abraham looks concerned in another, while Sasha looks ready to fight rather than hand over her weapons. But perhaps the most interesting photo is that of Father Gabriel. When viewers last saw him he was wearing a sheet covered in walker guts in order to get past the walkers in the street. He's no longer wearing that sheet in the photo — but does that mean he successfully makes it by the walkers? Or could the photo be from a flashback?
Only time will tell! Check out the new photos from episode 9 below:
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 midseason premiere airs on AMC Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
