‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Shares Odd Behind-The-Scenes Photo That Has Fans Speculating About A Character
“Walking Dead” fans are scratching their heads after star Norman Reedus shared an odd photo on Instagram over the weekend. The 47-year-old actor, who portrays Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC series, posted an image of a prop dummy — and his followers think that it has something to do with his co-star, Lauren Cohan.
The image features a dummy laying on a table with its knees bent and open. A face cannot be seen, and the caption simply reads, “Ahem.” Unfortunately, Reedus shared no further details.

Because there are no other details in the caption or photo, it’s unclear if the dummy is even part of “The Walking Dead.” It’s possible that Reedus could be sharing an image from another project that he’s working on. However, fans of the zombie series seem pretty certain that it has to do with an upcoming plot line regarding Cohan’s character Maggie.
For those that don’t remember, episode 15 left off last week with a pregnant Maggie experiencing sharp pains. She collapsed on the floor and the fate of her baby was left in the air. With Denise (Merritt Wever) dead after her encounter with Dwight (Austin Amelio) in episode 14, the Alexandria Safe-Haven has no doctor to help Maggie and diagnose her problem. Although it’s unclear what will come next, fans can’t forget that Maggie and Glenn (Steven Yeun) met a doctor who lives at the Hilltop Colony. It’s possibly that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) could attempt to transfer Maggie to the other survivor safe haven in order to get her the medical attention she needs.
Then, of course, there is the issue of Glenn. While Maggie is experiencing pain, the Saviors have her husband and Michonne (Danai Gurira) tied up in the woods. Daryl and Rosita (Christian Serratos) attempted to rescue them last week, however, their plan backfired when Dwight was able to sneak up behind them. The episode ended with blood splattering the camera after a gun went off. Fans don’t know who — if anyone — was killed, and the folks at Alexandria have no idea that some of their people are captured.
Reedus’ followers believe that the dummy is a prop that the show will be using for Maggie’s birth scene — that is, if she gets the help she needs and makes it out of the finale alive. “The Walking Dead” will be introducing big bad comic book villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in Sunday’s episode, and the character is supposed to take the life of an Alexandria survivor.
Some of Reedus’ fans are also speculating that the dummy is for the actor’s character. Daryl’s fate was left hanging in the balance last week after the gunshot. The dummy could potentially be part of the special effects in creating a brutal scene.
“The Walking Dead” Season 6 finale airs on AMC Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT. What do you think of the image? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
