Watch: Alex Rodriguez Knew He Was Destined To Be With Jennifer Lopez Decades Ago

Alex Rodriguez apparently knew for quite some time that Jennifer Lopez was the woman for him. In a very sweet clip he posted on his Instagram on Tuesday, the former MLB star talks about the 49-year-old beauty during a candid 1998 interview.

Rodriguez at the time was 22-years-old and a Seattle Mariners player, so this is even before he made his mark in history playing for the New York Yankees. He was asked, "What would a dream date with Alex Rodriguez be?" Without hesitation, not even a split second, he looked at the reporter and answered, "Jennifer Lopez, hopefully, you can find me a date with her."

How romantic is that? As fate would have it, the picturesque couple began dating in February 2017. Rodriguez, now 43, captioned the video, "I just had a feeling." Lopez saw the video as well, and wrote as a comment, "OMG...I love this too much" along with heart emojis. Never to be outdone with the romance, Rodriguez replied to Lopez, "when you know, you know."

Fans cannot wait for this beautiful couple to walk down the aisle, especially after this latest heartwarming moment. But they don't have a set date yet, which is fine with them. Last month, Lopez told Entertainment Tonight, "There's no rush. We really see this as something that's gonna be forever, and we're gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed."

But she did reveal that she's been "looking at everything" from dresses to wedding venues since Rodriguez popped the question in March, but "only when I have time. Most of the time, I'm working."
