As New York Democrat, Rep. Anthony Weiner apologized for his Twitter scandal on live T.V. today his wife of less than a year, Huma Abedin, was nowhere to be found.

Weiner insisted that he never cheated and that he and his wife had talked about the situation and agreed to work it out, but why wasn't she there? Spitzer's wife stood by him during his press conference.

Weiner said he won't resign and said this was destructive, this was deeply hurtful.

Abedin is a long-time personal aide of Hilary Clinton. The couple is coming up on their one-year wedding anniversary. They were married July 10, 2010.
