Promotional efforts for “The Rise of Skywalker” have officially hit an all-time high. With a multitude of trailers, TV spots, and interviews recently released, in addition to an exclusive special footage event within “Fortnite,” Amazon is now getting in on the fun as well with a secret “Rise of Skywalker” behind-the-scenes look hidden within their platform.

Revealed by Variety, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” BTS by Amazon is splicing of old and new footage featuring “Star Wars” cast members like Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Anthony Daniels, and more. The secret “Star Wars” feature is yet another multipart promotional effort by Disney in association with Amazon as “Episode IX” nears its debut.

There are two ways to find the secret “Star Wars” video. One is by simply typing #TheRiseOfSkywalker into Amazon.com or the Amazon app. The second way is by merely saying “Alexa, the force will be with you always,” into an Amazon Fire TV remote or Echo device.

“Its sense of humanity, its sense of heart, and its sense of adventure; the ending of ‘Episode IX’ is a conclusion of a story that is over forty years in the making,” said director J.J. Abrams in kicking off “The Rise of Skywalker” Amazon featurette.

The less than two-minute-long inside look also features new shots from the forthcoming film, specifically a heartfelt one shared between R2-D2 and C-3PO.

“I want you to know that you have been a real friend, R2,” said Daniels’s 3PO. “My best one, in fact.”

Along with the special video, viewers will also be welcomed by a stream of tie-fighters and a special page dedicated to “Star Wars,” with links to products, such as a plush Baby Yoda toy, and Fandango advanced tickets.

Though Disney may have hit a slight road bump with its newest “Star Wars” ride opening with issues, the company hasn’t slowed one bit in their pursuit to promote “The Rise of Skywalker” and all things “Star Wars” related. With the special “Fortnite” event debuting Saturday at 2 p.m. ET, and a little over a week left until it’s official release, “Star Wars” fans everywhere won’t have to wait too much longer to see the final moments of the Skywalker saga.
