What Did Beyonce Get Kim Kardashian For Her Baby Shower? Singer Sends Reality Star $12,000 Gift

Though Beyonce was not able to attend Kim Kardashian’s baby shower last weekend in Beverly Hills due to being on tour, she made sure to give Kardashian a gift that she would not forget. The 31-year-old mother bought the reality star a Swarovski crystal-studded high chair worth approximately $12,000, a source told Sunday Mirror.

The chair, designed by Carla Monchen, is similar to a chair Beyonce has for her 17-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

Beyonce is no stranger to spending lavishly, and reportedly spent $200,000 on Blue Ivy’s birthday party back in January. The birthday cake reportedly cost over $2,000, and she and husband Jay-Z splurged on pink and white roses, which cost nearly $100,000. According to the Daily Mail, Blue Ivy also received a custom-made Barbie doll that has diamond gems and white gold and cost $80,000.

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s Grecian-themed baby shower kicked off around 11 a.m. last weekend, with menu items including lox and bagels, pancakes and waffles, along with mimosas. On arrival, guests were given hand-made wildflower wreaths, according to E!, and the venue was decorated with white drapes and flowers. Reflecting the Grecian theme presumably inspired by the Kardashian clan's recent trip to Mykonos, Kim wore a long ivory dress, and sister Khloe wore a long, chic white dress. Naturally, all the festivities were filmed for upcoming episodes of reality-TV hit "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

Though Beyonce was not in attendance, there were many celebrities there, including trainer Tracey Anderson, reality star NeNe Leakes, socialite Nicole Richie and television personalities Maria Menounos and Kelly Osbourne. The only males in attendance were Lamar Odom and Scott Disick, who are in relationships with Kim’s sisters Khloe and Kourtney, respectively.
