What Does Adam Levine Really Think Of Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani’s Relationship?
Adam Levine has a very close relationship with his fellow “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton. And now, he’s sharing his thoughts on the country singer’s relationship with Gwen Stefani.
During his guesting in “The Howard Stern Show,” the Maroon 5 front man confirmed that Shelton and Stefani are so in love with each other. “They’re so in love it’s disgusting. It’s so funny. They found each other at really interesting times in their lives. It’s really beautiful,” he said.
Shelton and Stefani started dating in 2015 after working together in the hit NBC singing reality TV competition. They made things officials not long after Shelton’s divorce from Miranda Lambert and Stefani’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale, according to People.
Levine also said that Shelton and Stefani’s love for each other is so genuine and real, and he can attest to it because he used to always see it off screen. “I’m so affectionate and gross with my wife – this is a whole level of vomit,” he joked. “They’re so in love. It’s really nice,” he added.
The “Sugar” singer is also a huge fan of Stefani that up until this day, he still can’t believe that Shelton has the chance to be with the No Doubt Singer. “I still tell him, ‘I can’t believe you get to be with Gwen Stefani. It’s just not [expletive] right!’” he said.
Levine also shares a special bond with Shelton on and off screen. On the show, the two male coaches would also tease each other in front of the contestants and audiences. In some instances, they would make fun of each other to the point of almost offending each other, but they never did.
So it’s no surprise that Levine was the first one who knew that Shelton and Stefani were already a couple. After all, he saw the two “kissing” while they were at dinner in New York. And when asked if he thinks Shelton will ever propose to Stefani, Levine said that he has no idea, but he sure hopes to receive a wedding invitation. “They’re two of my closest friends,” he said.
