What Happened During Prince William, Kate Middleton’s First Meeting With Archie Harrison
Prince William and Kate Middleton have finally met their nephew, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, one week after he was born.
After a series of royal engagements, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took time out if their busy schedule to meet the newest addition to the royal family. So, what exactly transpired during their trip to Frogmore Cottage?
It has been revealed that Prince William and Middleton didn’t bring their three children to meet their cousin yet. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are back in school, and the royal couple visited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son in the morning while classes were ongoing.
As of late, it is still unclear why the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t bring Prince Louis along. But it is possible that his parents will be off to work after their trip to Frogmore Cottage and would no longer have the time to bring their son back home at Kensington Palace.
A source told Mirror this week that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are dying to meet their first direct cousin, and they have been asking when they can pay him a visit. It is possible that a short trip to Frogmore Cottage would be made in the weekend.
Prince William and Middleton also waited for Prince Harry to return from Oxford because they visited the latter’s wife and son. Prior to meeting Archie, Prince William and Middleton had nothing but good things to say about the royal baby and his parents.
The Duke of Cambridge said that he’s excited to meet his nephew, and Middleton said a similar statement. After the young royal was born, Prince William welcomed his younger brother to “sleep deprivation society” aka parenting.
As of late, it is only Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles who have not met Prince Archie because Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have already visited him last week. Princess Diana’s sister, Lady Jane Fellowes, has also met her granddaughter.
