What Is Meghan Markle's New Year's Resolution?
Meghan Markle has some mannerism that she really wants to stop.
The "Suits" star used to write in her personal blog, The Tig. In one of her posts, Markle admitted that she swears and bites her nails and ending these habits has always been part of her New Year's resolution list for years.
"Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. These make my New Year's resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year," Prince Harry's fiancée wrote (via The Sun).
According to Markle, the swearing is triggered when she is overworked or is feeling "might cheeky" after a couple of drinks. Meanwhile, the biting of nails happens when she has a stressful day or during a turbulent flight.
"It's unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing," Markle confessed about her habits.
Markle is very detailed when it comes to her blog, The Tig. In fact, based on her posts, one can make an analysis about the "Horrible Bosses" actress.
According to Vanity Fair, Markle prefers low-key celebration and is not interested in fictional tales of romance. Also, while she loves traveling, there are times when she prefers a staycation.
"Sometimes jumping on a plane, train or automobile isn't in the cards, and your only opportunity to vacate is at home sweet home," she wrote in another entry.
In addition, Markle is independent and does not mind solitude. In fact, she is fine with "seeing a movie alone" and "taking yourself out to dinner."
In April, a few months after Markle started dating Prince Harry, she decided to shut down her lifestyle blog. All of Markle's posts have been lost in the depths of the internet.
"After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it's time to say goodbye to The Tig," Markle wrote. The bride-to-be admitted that the blog was a passion project for her. Through it, she aims to give inspiration, support, fun and frivolity.
Markle left her readers with an inspiring message as she bid goodbye to them. "Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being the change you wish to see in the world,'" she wrote. "Above all, don't ever forget your worth - as I've told you time and time again: you, my sweet friend, you are enough."
