What Would Happen If Prince Harry’s DNA Reveals He’s James Hewitt’s Son?
Prince Harry is Prince Charles’ biological son. But some royal fans are still linking him with Princess Diana’s former lover, James Hewitt because they have similar hair color.
On the online forum site Quora, royal fans posed a hypothetical question regarding Prince Harry and Hewitt and asked what would happen if the Duke of Sussex’s DNA suddenly revealed that he’s really the son of Hewitt.
Jules Gillespie, an avionics techie, said that it would be a momentous day if Prince Harry learns that he is not the biological son of Prince Charles. It would also be one for the books.
“A great day of humanity! Many, many troublesome questions could be answered!” he said.
But Gillespie’s response was meant to be sarcastic because it’s common knowledge that Princess Diana and Hewitt met each other after Prince Harry was born. This means that there’s no way Meghan Markle’s husband could be Hewitt’s son.
Several other royal fans urged whoever posted the question to stop posting malicious content online. They said that rumors about Hewitt being Prince Harry’s dad have already been debunked years ago.
“Please stop repeating this malicious and untrue rumor. What would happen if people started a rumor that you weren’t your father's child… How would you feel and how would your mother feel?” Abigail Macdonald wrote.
James Gracie, a self-employed individual, said that he wouldn’t believe it no matter what because Prince Harry looks every bit like Prince Charles. He also said that if Prince Harry took a DNA test and it reveals that he’s Prince Charles’ son then maybe the whole world will stop liking the new dad to Hewitt.
Meanwhile, it is also important to note that Prince Harry inherited Princess Diana’s side of the family’s hair color. This is the reason why the late Princess of Wales adoringly called her youngest son “my little Spencer,” as a reference to her family’s and Prince Harry’s ginger hair.
