Where And When To Find The Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter Beer
It’s back for another year! The Hershey Company (HSY) and D.G. Yuengling & Son brewery have teamed up once again to offer their chocolate beer creation with the Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter.
The chocolate porter will be available beginning this month on draft and for the first time ever in bottles. The beer will be sold throughout the 22 states where Yuengling beer is available, while supplies last.
The Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter, which was first brewed in 2019 and offered in 14 states, will be available during the entire holiday season all the way through Valentine’s Day 2021.
Those interested in making a purchase can find a location selling the porter near them using Yuengling's Beer Finder map.
“Last year we were overwhelmed by the excitement and passion expressed by our fans for our first-ever collaboration beer,” Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and sixth-generation brewer at D.G. Yuengling & Son, said in a statement.
“We heard our fans and saw consumers, near and far, scrambling to get their hands on a taste of Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter. So, in keeping with our 191-year tradition of listening to our loyal fans, we decided to release our chocolate porter across our entire footprint and in bottles for even more consumers 21+ to enjoy.”

The beer has a 4.7% ABV (alcohol by volume) and combines Yuengling’s nearly 200-year-old Dark Brewed Porter recipe with Hershey’s chocolate. The beer is a special-edition and seasonal brew that features Hershey’s chocolate flavor with caramel and dark roasted malts.
Yuengling said the drink has a “smooth, rich and delightfully chocolaty finish.” The brewer recommends pairing the chocolate porter with barbecued and smoked meats, cheeses, and desserts.
Shares of Hershey were trading at $143.35 as of 2:42 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, up $2.16 or 1.53%.
