Who Is Marc Tomblin? Wendy Williams' New Man Has A Criminal Past

The identity of Wendy Williams' new mystery pal has been revealed, and so has his criminal past.

Meet Marc Tomblin, a 27-year-old North Carolina native. Currently, Tomblin's LinkedIn page says he is a financial investor and blogger. However, according to state records obtained by Bossip, he was convicted of breaking and entering and robbery with a dangerous weapon in 2013 and served 15 months for the charges before being released from prison in 2014.

Tomblin's past comes as no surprise to Williams. "I'm a 54-year-old grown [expletive] woman. I know what I'm doing," the talk show host told TMZ on Tuesday. Williams also told the outlet that her assistant and Tomblin made her aware of his previous convictions. She added that his criminal background does not matter because "I'm not stupid."

Williams had fans scrambling to identify the "very sexy man" when she posted an Instagram shot of herself by a pool holding hands with Tomblin, who face was not pictured, on Monday.

"Last night was the most beautiful sunset in Sherman Oaks with special people. Thank you, California! You've won me over! I'll be back for the Hip Hop Festival in August," she captioned the shot, adding the hashtags "#oldenoughtobeyourmother," "#verysexyman," and "#mynewlife."

But for those wanting to put a label on the talk show host and her new friend, not so fast. Williams said that she is just having fun, telling TMZ that, "He is lovely, but let me make it clear...I don't have a boyfriend."

News of "The Wendy Williams Show" host's new beau comes amid her divorce from her husband and former manager Kevin Hunter. She officially filed for divorce in April, citing irreconcilable differences.

Since the split, Williams has been open about her life. Just last month she shared with viewers, "I don't have a boyfriend, but I must admit I am rediscovering my love of men."
