According to a new report from Bossip, Rowland is engaged to her longtime boyfriend and manager, Tim Witherspoon. The couple have been dating for four years and it is believed that Witherspoon asked Ms. Kelly for her hand in marriage sometime last week. Talk of the engagement began to grow Friday when Rowland posted a video to Instagram, revealing a gorgeous diamond ring on her ring finger.
The video was a birthday message for the daughter of one of Rowland’s good friends. And when Kelly blew a kiss at the camera to close out the adorable greeting, she flashed quite the stunning rock on her ring finger.
This isn’t the first round of marriage talk for the couple, though. Engagement rumors began to grow a few weeks ago when they were seen getting matching tattoos, reports the Daily Mail. The two have kept their relationship extremely private. So it’s no shock that the star would hold off to confirm the happy news. There have been no comments for Rowland’s team. But it’s surely an exciting time for the R&B star and “X Factor” judge if she has indeed taken another huge step in her relationship with her sweetie.
