Why Isn’t ‘Supernatural’ On Tonight? CW Delays Season 14, Episode 17
Sorry, “Supernatural” fans, but there’s no new episode airing tonight.
On Friday, it was announced that the long-running CW series will be coming to an end after Season 15, and, now, the show’s taking the week off from showing new episodes. It’s likely a hard time for the fandom, but, luckily, it won’t be long before “Supernatural” comes back.
The drama returns with Season 14, episode 17, titled “Game Night,” on April 4, but from the synopsis and the episode photos, it doesn’t seem like the characters will be having as much fun as the title suggests.
“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) race to help a friend in need,” according to the synopsis. “Meanwhile, Mary (guest star Samantha Smith) is concerned for Jack’s (Alexander Calvert) wellbeing, and Castiel (Misha Collins) enlists help from Jo/Anael (guest star Danneel Ackles) to track down a miracle.”
The episode was written by Meredith Glynn and directed by John Showalter.
Catch “Supernatural” when it returns on April 4 with Season 14, episode 17 on The CW at 8 p.m. EDT.
