Why Isn’t There A New ‘Teen Mom OG’ On Tonight? A Rundown Of Season 6, Episode 3

The new season of “Teen Mom OG” just started but MTV viewers won’t be treated to a fresh episode Monday night. After premiering episode 3 on Sunday ahead of the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, a repeat installment will be shown on Aug. 29.

“Teen Mom OG” fans were treated to the latest Season 6 installment early on Sunday ahead of the VMAs pre-show. Instead of a new episode airing during the show’s usual Monday night timeslot, MTV has decided to replay the installment in case fans forgot to tune in during the special date and time.

Episode 3, recapped by International Business Times, showed the continuation of momma drama. Fans who missed the episode can catch it Monday night at 9 p.m. on MTV or watch it on the network’s website by signing in with your TV provider information. In “Don’t Panic,” Maci Bookout learned she was further along in her pregnancy than expected – 21 weeks to be exact. (She has since given birth to her baby boy.) When she started to stress about planning a wedding and preparing to care for three children, she and her fiancé Taylor McKinney agreed she should quit her job.

Elsewhere, Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham went on separate trips. Amber visited her troubled fiancé Matt Baier’s family in Massachusetts, while Farrah traveled to her home state of Iowa for a doctor’s appointment. There, she also reconnected with Sophia’s deceased dad’s family.

Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra faced some big struggles in episode 3. After getting a phone call from their daughter Carly’s adoptive parents, they learned the family doesn’t want them to speak about the adoption on camera anymore. Tyler was not receptive to their request, and said he would continue to speak his mind even if it meant hurting their relationship with Carly. He also commented they maybe should have initially pursued a closed adoption.

Things will go back to normal in the “Teen Mom OG” universe next month. Episode 4 will premiere on Monday, Sept. 5, at 9 p.m. EDT. “Animal Instincts” will shows Maci start to plan her wedding, Farrah get into a fight with her boyfriend Simon during Easter and Leah’s upset when her mom Amber “misses a visit with her.”
