Why Khloé Kardashian Refuses To Divorce Lamar Odom Even Though Kris Jenner Demands It: Report

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloé Kardashian is not shy about her love for Lamar Odom, but her mom, Kris Jenner, does not want her to continue on with the marriage, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Monday. Despite her mother’s protests, Kardashian refuses to divorce Odom, Hollywood Life added.

Jenner, 60, wants the marriage to end because Kardashian acts like a mother to Odom more than a wife. "Kris talks all the time to Khloé about Lamar and she pointed out that Khloé isn't that involved in Lamar's life on a day-to-day basis," an insider told Radar Online. "Kris is telling Khloé that it is time to end things with Lamar. There was a reason to be in charge of him medically for a while, but that time has passed."

Kardashian, 31, took care of Odom, 36, while he recovered from an overdose in October. Although he has apparently made a full recovery, he continues to drink in public. Kardashian is seemingly upset with his antics and penned an Instagram post about “letting go” Sunday.

Still, she loves him. “Khloé has not yet divorced Lamar because the heart wants what the heart wants and she never really wanted a divorce from Lamar,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “Her heart was not in the divorce, she was just going through the motions of the divorce because she was angry and hurt about being neglected by him ... Their sex was always really good and she has always had a strong love for Lamar.”

While Jenner also has feelings for Odom, she thinks it would be best for her daughter to move on. "Kris really loves Lamar. She loves all of her kids and their partners, but she doesn't think that Khloé has a future with Lamar. And she doesn't want her to wait around for him anymore," the source told Radar Online.
