Teresa Giudice hasn't made up her mind about filming her upcoming wedding to fiancé Luis Ruelas for her reality series, according to a report.
The 49-year-old Bravo star will soon begin filming for the next season of "Real Housewives of New Jersey," but she is still "on the fence" about the idea of televising her and Ruelas' nuptials, unnamed sources familiar with the situation told Page Six. Production on the series typically takes place over the months of June, July and August.
Giudice's rep, James Leonard, declined to comment when Page Six reached out for confirmation, but the outlet suggested that the reason behind the reality star's apprehension about having her wedding featured on "RHONJ" may be related to her fiancé.
On Saturday's episode of the "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast, "RHONJ" alum Kim DePaola claimed that Ruelas is unhappy about the negativity surrounding his newfound fame.
Since he began dating Giudice in July 2020, the businessman has been linked to several negative headlines, including allegations that he is "sex-obsessed," was abusive in past relationships and had legal troubles over alleged improper business practices.
"Because of all the pressure he's getting now with all these lawsuits, I guess he's having second thoughts about being on a reality show and all that," DePaola speculated, before further claiming that Giudice's groom is "getting cold feet a little bit."
"[He] thought that he was the Teflon Don, thought that he could come on this show and no one was going to find out his crap," she added. "Well, that's not what happens."
DePaola, who still runs in the same circles as Giudice, also recently claimed that she "found out" that former "Housewife" and entrepreneur Dina Manzo will be Giudice's maid of honor at her nuptials, which she claimed to have learned is set for August.
Unnamed sources told Page Six that DePaola's information was "in the ballpark" of conversations that were taking place.
If Giudice decides to film her wedding for the series, fans will see Manzo, 50, on "RHONJ" for the first time in almost eight years.
However, if the couple decides not to televise their nuptials, Giudice and Ruelas could follow the move of "Real Housewives of New York City" star Luann de Lesseps, who shared home videos and cellphone footage for the production to edit and show in the series.
Bravo has declined to comment on whether or not Giudice's big day will be part of the upcoming season.
Giudice and Ruelas started dating months after she finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Joe Giudice in September 2020. The couple got engaged in October 2021 after the businessman proposed during a trip to Greece.
Teresa and Joe share four daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Meanwhile, Ruelas has two sons, David and Nicholas.
