Will Comedy Central’s ‘The Other Two’ Have A Season 2? Renewal, Cancellation Details
Comedy Central’s newest series, “The Other Two,” wraps up its first batch of episodes tonight with its Season 1 finale. Luckily, there’s still much more fun to be had.
Network boss Kent Alterman announced in February that the freshman sitcom, which is written and executive produced by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, has been renewed for a Season 2.
“The secret sauce is that it’s not just really funny, but a searing, social and cultural commentary,” Alterman said last month, according to Deadline. “It also has so much heart, and none of those things are in opposition to each other.”
The half-hour comedy takes a look at how the lives of the other two Dubek siblings — Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke (Heléne Yorke) —change when their 13-year-old brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), becomes famous overnight. Molly Shannon stars as their mother, Pat, and Ken Marino plays Chase’s manager, Streeter.
“The Other Two” premiered on Jan. 24, and its Season 1 finale airs on Comedy Central tonight at 10:30 p.m. EDT.
