Will Meghan Markle Allow Thomas Markle To Walk Her Down The Aisle?

Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle, recently opened up about his daughter’s upcoming wedding to Prince Harry.

After Markle and Prince Harry’s engagement was announced on Nov. 27, rumors swirled that Thomas has been in seclusion to avoid being asked about the “Suits” alum.

But on Thursday, Mirror UK had the opportunity to talk to Thomas, and he said he’d love to walk Markle down the aisle during her May 2018 wedding. “Yes, I’d love to. I’m very pleased. I’m delighted,” he said. When pressed for details about the nuptials, Thomas apologized and said that he can’t say anything more.

According to the same publication, Markle’s dad is back on his feet after a difficult time last year. Thomas, who retired from his work as a lighting technician declared his bankruptcy last year.

After being faced with some money-related problems, Thomas left Los Angeles and started a life in Mexico. A neighbor said, “Tom’s had it tough but never once have we heard him complain. He has just got on with his life.”

Thomas and Markle’s mom, Doria Radlan, were only married for a few years, but they are civil towards each other. Rumors swirled that Markle and her dad don’t have a peaceful relationship after the actress’ half-sister, Samantha Markle, said that she doubts Markle would allow their dad to send her away during her wedding, according to E! News.

As of late, details about Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding are still being kept under wraps. It is unclear if the actress would allow her dad to send her off on her special day. But Prince Harry has already asked some of the most important people in his life to play a part during his wedding ceremony.

Prince William will serve as Prince Harry’s best man, and his and Kate Middleton’s two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will also have crucial roles in their wedding.

Markle’s closest friends and family members are also expected to head to London for her rumored May 26 wedding. But it is unclear if any of her half-siblings will be invited to her and Prince Harry’s nuptials.
