Woman Asks Internet To Find Her Mystery Lover, Discovers He's Married

A Pennsylvania woman was surprised to see social media Sherlocks scour the internet and find the man she thought could possibly be the love of her life. However, what surprised her more was discovering the man, who had flirted with her when they met, is actually married.

Mica Renee, 28, asked her thousands of followers to find the mystery man she met once on a beach visit in Miami last August. She also shared a TikTok video of herself and the man smiling away as they held hands and hugged each other.

“TikTok help me find this man I met in Miami,” Renee said.

The model and travel blogger with over 18,000 followers on TikTok said the man walked right into the ocean to flirt with her, but she failed to save his number, according to Daily Dot. Her video asking for help garnered 4.8 million views on TikTok.

As expected, armchair sleuths began scrolling and sharing the video in a bid to reunite Renee with the mystery man. “I’m counting on [y’all to find him]. Hopefully he ain’t married!” Renee added.

Soon after her video went viral, Renee shared an update and said the estranged love interest was, indeed, married. “I won’t be reaching out to him,” Renee said.

“I was shocked to find out he had a wife,” Renee told the New York Post. “And I never expected my video would go viral. I just thought if he was found, we’d reconnect and maybe exchange numbers.”

Renee found out that the man, a fitness trainer known as AJ, was married to a mother-of-four named Sharee.

Enraged to see her husband in the video, Sharee spoke to Renee after the video went viral and said she is glad AJ was busted.

“It’s not your fault,” Sharee said when Renee apologized for the fiasco. “He didn’t care so please believe I’m not about to. But thank you for posting this. Everything done in the dark will always come to the light.”

The mother from Michigan also asked Renee not to delete the video. “Can you not delete the video,” she said. “I don’t want him lying about this too.”

Renee seemed more than happy to comply. “I can only imagine what she is going through,” Renee told the New York Post. “And I appreciate that we were able to communicate about the situation very respectfully.”

The strange turn of events also saw AJ make an appearance. He claimed he is innocent and accused Renee of lying. “There was never no cheating, and never no attempting to cheat," he said. “ ... I hope you get whatever mental help you need because that s–t is just a little crazy and very, very weird. Hope your life gets better.”

“Just for the record I definitely don’t cheat on my wife, she knows that,” AJ declared in conclusion.

Renee shared a message in response to AJ and said: “I hope that married men stop approaching single women, in general. And single women, please be mindful of your interactions on the internet. I never expected my fun lighthearted video would go viral.”
