'Wonder Woman 1984' Trailer To Be Released This Weekend
The wait for the first “Wonder Woman 1984” trailer is finally over. The video will be released this weekend, giving the fans an idea about the story.
A team from the upcoming movie, including director Patty Jenkins, will be taking part in the 2019 Comic Con Experience in São Paulo, Brazil. During the panel discussion, the audience will be shown the trailer of the movie. It remains to be seen when that video will be released online.
Although there hasn’t been an official announcement about the trailer release, a note from Gal Gadot has surfaced online that confirms that the video will be shown on Sunday. Gadot will be reprising her titular role as the superhero Diana Prince, and her note was a part of the mailer about the Comic Con in Brazil.
The note posted on Fandom Twitter page reveals that Gadot and director Jenkins will be in Brazil for the Comic Con, and the actress asked the fans in UK to watch the event live online. She also revealed that they will be sharing a trailer of “Wonder Woman 1984” during the panel discussion.
Along with the trailer, the fans may also get to see a new poster of the upcoming movie this weekend. A picture from the Comic Con experience in Brazil posted on Twitter page of entertainment news writer Daniel Richtman shows a massive theater display that will greet the fans at the event. The picture has the same 80s look as the other photos of the movie that were released previously.
The main villain of “Wonder Woman 1984” is the comic book character Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). The character also goes by the name Barbara Minerva, and it remains to be seen if the trailer will explore the origins of the villain. As far as the look of the character is concerned, a picture of the merchandise of the movie that has surfaced online gives the fans an idea about what the costume of the villain will be like.
