Costa Rica’s 1-0 victory over Italy on Friday gave the nation bragging rights as the only remaining undefeated team in Group D. It also devastated fans of Italy and England, which was eliminated from the group stage for the first time since 1958 as a result of the loss.

Bryan Ruiz of Costa Rica scored the match’s only goal at the 44-minute mark. Los Ticos have now all but assured that they’ll advance to the knockout round.

Meanwhile, Italian fans are in shock and England’s supporters have already taken to social media to voice their frustration with Three Lions.

Italy and Uruguay will play each other on June 24 to determine which of the two 1-1 teams will join Costa Rica in the next round. Their match will air at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
