World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has insisted that Seth Rollins has made a smart move by collaborating with "The Author of Pain" (AOP). The four-time WWE Champion, Kurt Angle, has said that the trio of AOP and Seth Rollins will win championships, just like Team Angle did in 2003.

Angle opened up on Rollins’ new role as the leader of AOP during the Q&A session he held on his official Facebook page, where he answered a series of questions from the fans.

“Seth and AOP will have a hell of a run. These guys are animals. Seth made a very smart move teaming up with those guys. They will ALL win gold just like Team Angle in 2003,” the 51-year-old, who now works as a backstage producer at WWE, added.

To put down Kevin Owens, Rollins decided to align with AOP. During this week’s WWE RAW Christmas special episode, the team of Rollins and AOP thrashed Rey Mysterio along with the announcer Samoa Joe.

If Rollins and AOP continue to destroy their opponents, in no time, Angle’s prediction will come true. In 2003, when the Angle team ruled the WWE ring, he was the WWE Champion on SmackDown, while his cohorts Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas held the WWE Tag Team titles.

Angle, who retired earlier this year in April, clinched as many as 21 championships between WWF/WWE, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action. One of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Angle is still the only pro-wrestler in history to have won the WWE Championship, WWE's World Heavyweight Championship, the WCW Championship, the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the IGF's IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

The American is also the only person to have been "King of the Ring" and "King of the Mountain" and also to have held both the WWE and TNA Triple Crowns. Angle has hit the headlines in several pay-per-view events for WWF/WWE and TNA, including both WrestleMania and Bound for Glory. In 2004, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter inducted Angle into the Hall of Fame and later named him "Wrestler of the Decade" for the 2000s.
