WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar's Suspension Update Overshadows Roman Reigns' Big Survivor Series Win
KEY POINTS
- Brock Lesnar may appear on SmackDown after his suspension had been lifted.
- Heyman was visibly disturbed when questioned to comment about it
- Lesnar is advertised to appear on next year's Royal Rumble
Roman Reigns, the WWE Universal Champion, hacked out a big win over WWE Champion Big E at the 2021 Survivor Series pay-per-view event held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, November 21.
Although the colossal showdown between the two WWE titleholders capped another successful show, Reigns’ win was overshadowed by a word getting out tied to chief adversary Brock Lesnar.
It appears the suspension of “The Beast Incarnate” has been lifted, a reason why some fans were expecting Lesnar to somehow appear at Survivor Series.
That never happened although the thought of seeing the former UFC and WWE champion was pretty much in the air.
In the post-show interview between Megan Morant and Paul Heyman, it was very obvious that the creative team was creating renewed hype on Lesnar.
Morant was trying to get Heyman’s thoughts on the development, but the former ECW boss visibly appeared miffed considering that Reigns was coming off a huge victory over Big E.
“You’re supposed to be pretty, not intelligent. You know… like Kayla,” Heyman said to Morant in the interview.
There is a possibility that Lesnar could re-emerge in the next WWE SmackDown episode and continue his feud with Reigns.
Both WWE behemoths are being advertised for Royal Rumble 2021, which is set to take place at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri on January 29.
