Xbox Live Is Down: Status Support Page Confirms Players Unable To Sign In To Accounts

Xbox Live is down, according to Microsoft’s Xbox support page -- and according to Twitter, where would-be players are venting their frustrations. The game service’s status is currently limited, and it tells users they may have trouble signing in to their Xbox Live accounts.

“Hi Xbox members, are you having issues trying to sign in to Xbox Live? We're aware of the issue and our team is working diligently to get it resolved as quickly as possible,” the Xbox Live status page reads. “Thanks so much for staying patient while we get this fixed. We'll update you again in 30 minutes.”

This isn't great news for Microsoft, since high volumes of users are probably hoping to play Sledgehammer Games' first-person shooter "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," which reached the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Tuesday.

Xbox Live appears to be stuck in Playstation simulator mode :<
