‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Kevin Works On An Escape Plan For Chloe
He was floored when he realized she wasn’t dead after all. Now, Kevin will work on a plan to help Chloe escape from Victor’s clutches so they can spend the rest of their lives together with no interference from anyone in Genoa City ever again on the Friday, June 9 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) pretended she had committed suicide as part of a plan with Victor (Eric Braden) and Dr. Harris to keep Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) from their search for answers regarding Adam’s murder on the CBS soap. After she was brought back to Genoa City for a funeral, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) asked to have a few moments alone with the woman he had intended to marry, and was stunned when she opened the casket and told him she was faking her death. She quickly told him where he would find her and told him to come and help her escape when he was ready.

Since then, Victor has arranged for her to resume being a resident at the doctor’s house, under the guise of continuing her treatment. In reality, Victor is holding her there and helped arrange her fake death so no one else would find out that he had been her accomplice when it came to framing Adam for a crime he didn’t commit, which was the catalyst that eventually ended with Chloe killing him in a cabin explosion. However, since she wasn’t supposed to kill him, and she could be a liability if anyone else ever figures out she’s still alive, Victor could also be having her kept there so he can make sure that if needed, she’s killed.
Chloe, however, is very aware that she may not be safe with Dr. Harris, and will feel her suspicions may be confirmed when she overhears him on a phone call with Victor.
“Chloe’s in excellent hands Mr. Newman,” Harris says in a preview clip. “I plan to devote myself to her treatment.”
Meanwhile, Kevin is still back in Genoa City, preparing to leave town. After Chloe revealed the truth to him, he told his loved ones he would be leaving town and heading to Tahiti so he could recharge and properly mourn her death, something no one questioned.

However, he knows he still needs to get Chloe out of that house before he can head to Tahiti, meaning his first stop will be in Louisiana. Before he heads out, he will also make sure he has a very important piece of equipment on him so he can use it if necessary to get her out—a gun.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
