‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer And Billy Face The Consequences
They both lied to Phyllis repeatedly about the gambling they were doing, and now, Summer and Billy will face the consequences of her wrath on the Tuesday, July 17 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Summer (Hunter King) got Billy (Jason Thompson) back into gambling on the CBS soap after hosting a poker game at the apartment and later telling him about the secret matches that were taking place at the Athletic Club. She also used him to help her out when she gambled away all of the money she had in her trust fund.
Since then, however, his addiction to tit resurfaced badly, and he wound up losing Jaboat, the yacht he purchased for the company. As he tried to win it back, he wound up making Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) suspicious that he was cheating on her, and she hired a detective to find out where he was going. She then learned he was gambling again, and the two had a massive fight as a result.
Now, the consequences will prove even greater for Billy, as Phyllis learns the extent of the deceit she faced from both her boyfriend and her daughter.
A preview clip for the show shows Phyllis being so enraged by what happened that she will throw Billy’s bags at him and kick him out of the house, saying she can’t live with a man who she can’t trust. Whether or not this spells the end of the pair’s relationship for good or not is still up in the air, but Billy will have to accept that he may have truly screwed things up with her this time around.
As for Summer, for now, she’ll escape some of her mother’s wrath, and she will still have a place to live since the apartment they all reside in is actually hers, but Phyllis will likely have something to say to her daughter as well. For now, while she will be livid with the things her daughter has done, the full force of Phyllis’ anger will be directed towards Billy.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
