She’s still holding on to the secret about what really happened to JT, which is bringing her to a breaking point. Now, as Victoria continues to crack, worries will mount that the pressure will become too much for her and she will eventually snap on the Aug. 29, 2018 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

It’s become noticeable to Sharon (Sharon Case), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that the pressure of keeping the truth about what happened to JT (Thad Luckinbill) the night he disappeared is getting to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) on the CBS soap. Nikki has attempted to get her daughter help to cope with the stress, but she has resisted thus far. Now, as she continues to let the guilt of the situation consume her, Victoria will keep worrying everyone.

Nikki, in particular, is concerned about her daughter’s well-being because she knows the stress isn’t good for her, and she’s worried about how much the abuse she suffered at JT’s hands affected things as well. Victoria has been resistant to seeing Nate (Brooks Darnell), despite Nikki’s assurances he is discreet, and she also hasn’t gone to see her therapist. As her mother continues suggesting she get help, she will likely still refuse and try to bury herself in work.

Young and the Restless
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) continues to crack under the pressure on the Aug. 29, 2018 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”  CBS

However, she may start to realize they all have something to worry about, as she begins to piece together a new common connection they have all made in recent days—the mysterious Rey (Jordi Villasousa), who introduced himself to Nikki and Victoria and made himself friendly with Phyllis and Sharon.

After learning that Rey had also spoken to Abby (Melissa Ordway) and that she told him about the recent JT situation where it seemed as though he’d come back to town, when it was really Nick (Joshua Morrow) impersonating him, Victoria will be positive he has ulterior motives. As the others try to talk her down, she will begin to insist that he is clearly not who he seems, because he’s asked about JT and made a point to get to know the four women who have a direct connection to his disappearance.

Now, as they all ponder if she’s right, they could start to worry that their big secret will crumble, especially as Victoria continues to crack.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
