‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Billy Finally Confess To Phyllis?
She resorted to extreme measures when she realized her daughter intended to seduce her boyfriend. Now, Phyllis will confront Billy about what exactly has been going on between him and Summer on the Monday, Aug. 27 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was appalled when Kyle (Michael Mealor) informed her of Summer’s (Hunter King) plan to ambush Billy (Jason Thompson) in Philadelphia and seduce him on the CBS soap. After confronting her daughter with her plane ticket, the two had a massive fight, which included Phyllis slapping her across the cheek. Summer stormed out, intent on getting to Philadelphia anyway until she received a text from Billy asking her to meet him on Jaboat. What she didn’t know, however, was that her mother had hacked into Billy’s computer and was the one who actually sent the message.
Now, Billy will return from Philadelphia and his conference, and will immediately be met by Phyllis, who will demand answers about what has actually happened between him and Summer. Now, he will come clean about the advances her daughter had been making, after initially keeping it all from her in an effort to spare her the heartache.
However, Billy will also be appalled when he realizes that Phyllis believed there was a chance that he would let himself sleep with her daughter, and Phyllis will be forced to admit to why she had some uncertainty. She’ll explain that she lured Summer to the yacht, which is not cruising on a lake without any Wi-Fi, and that she knows Summer wouldn’t have been easily fooled if she didn’t have an idea something would happen. Billy will then admit that Summer stepped things up and even came after him physically, but he’ll maintain that he told her they would never have a chance, and he would never have gone against her.
Now, deciding that they need to truly take action to keep Summer at bay once and for all, the two will make good on their plans to move out of her apartment—but even putting some distance between themselves and her won’t necessarily mean their nightmare will be over for good.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
