‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: What Will Ashley’s Shocking Confession Be?
She has been hiding something that could threaten her position as CEO of Jabot. Now, as Jack and Kyle make a move to learn her major secret, Ashley will finally come clean with the shocking truth on the Friday, Oct. 12 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was given the CEO seat after the Blood Abbott clause was finally rescinded, but she wasn’t in the chair long before Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack (Peter Bregman) became suspicious of something she had been doing with Type A Consulting. Kyle immediately decided he wanted revenge against his aunt when she refused to give him a better position, despite his helping to dethrone Billy (Jason Thompson), and was handed a golden opportunity when Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) told him he had some dirt on Jabot and Ashley that he wasn’t afraid to use.
When he and Jack began to dig further, they realized that Type A was not a consulting firm at all that Ashley was using to farm out research, but a shell corporation that was solely Andrew. Their attempt to question Ashley about the situation wound up being unsuccessful and they refuse to give up.
Y&R Spoilers tease that Ashley feels cornered. It appears that as Jack and Kyle grow closer to the truth, she may be forced to confess what she’s really been hiding.
As it turns out, Andrew works at the hospital DNA lab, something that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) knows and will point out as the various members of the Jabot board assemble for the meeting Jack requests. With that in mind, Jack will demand answers, and in a preview clip for the week’s episodes, he will try to get Andrew to give him answers—as Ashley cries out for him to stop and tells him she’ll share the truth.
A second preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above) shows her telling Jack he can stop the search for his biological father because she already knows who it is. Then, she will drop the biggest bombshell of all—she paid Andrew to change the DNA test results and will reveal that Jack is actually John Abbott’s son after all.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
