He’s been struggling with his feelings since learning of his father’s death, presumably because of what he did. Now, as he continues to cope with what he’s done and how much he’s alienated from everyone as a result, Adam will make a big decision about his future on the Wednesday, Sept. 25 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Since Victor’s (Eric Braden) “death” on the CBS soap, Adam (Mark Grossman) has been even more on the outs with his family, and after he changed the game on them by framing Victoria (Amelia Heinle) for the alleged crime to protect himself from prosecution for what he actually did, he became even more of a pariah. However, as he’s struggled with what he really wanted to do when he upped the dosage of Victor’s medication, he has seemingly had one potential ally—Sharon (Sharon Case), who has now come to see him at his penthouse.

However, he may quickly realize he has also lost her through his scheming he’s done since he came back to town.

Sharon was sick of his manipulations and games as well after he made sure to throw their hookup in Rey’s (Jordi Villasousa) face, but has still been drawn to try and help him. However, as she tries to convince him to help his sister with her unexpected legal troubles, he will become more antagonistic and belligerent. When he realizes that she once again is refusing to admit to loving him, and doesn’t want to pursue a romance, he will decide the time has come to make a decision about his life and Sharon’s place in it.

“Adam makes a big move,” spoilers reveal.

However, kicking Sharon, his one ally, out of his life as well, could prove to be a big mistake for him. Not only will he truly be alone, but he will continue being on the outside—a place that he’d be very unfortunate to be going forward.

What Adam doesn’t know is his family is setting him up and Victor isn’t really dead—but if he continues to make moves against them, and isolate himself from everyone in Genoa City, he could wind up in more trouble than expected.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
