‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Billy’s Intervention Work To Save Him?
He’s once again lost control over his impulses and gone too far off the deep end when it comes to his resumed gambling addiction. Now, as his loved ones gather around him for an intervention, with the hopes they will get through to him and stop it in his tracks, Billy’s behavior will threaten to rip his family apart on the Monday, Sept. 24 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) no stranger to making bad decisions when he’s caught up with his gambling habits, but this time on the CBS soap, he’s definitely gone too far. Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) have uncovered that he used Jabot money, meaning he’s been embezzling company cash to fund his habit. As a result, they, along with Tracy (Beth Maitland) have arranged an intervention for him, in the hopes that everyone who loves him can get through to him—before It's too late.
As a result, Ashley, Kyle, Tracy, Jill (Jess Walton), Jack (Peter Bergman), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will all gather for the sure to be tense meeting. Though Billy will agree to hear them out, and may even seem somewhat affected at first as they all explain why they believe in him and think he can beat this once again, eventually, things will turn, and as he begins to feel attacked, everything will once again wind up out of control.
Y&R spoilers tease that “Billy spirals.” If the intervention isn’t going as planned, then Billy could wind up being worse than ever before, because he now feels he has no support from anyone as a result. His change of heart over hearing them out will come after Ashley (Eileen Davidson) begs him to go to rehab, because he will believe this is all a ploy to get him away from his position as CEO of Jabot and open it up again for his siblings to grab it.
Now, as he refuses to listen and his loved ones realize that his situation may be too deeply beyond their control, the fears over Billy’s future will increase.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
