'Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Mia Prove She’s Pregnant?
She claimed to be pregnant as her husband attempted to arrest her for the assault on his sister. Now, in an effort to keep herself out of jail, Mia will continue to work and try to prove she’s not lying to Rey on the Tuesday, Feb. 26 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
Rey (Jordi Villasousa) figured out that Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) had been the one to push Lola (Sasha Calle) and send her into the Abbott family pool on Valentine’s Day as he continued looking over the case file and discovered an earring had been found on the scene-one which matched from a set he had purchased for his wife on the CBS soap. When he confronted her about it, she admitted she thought Lola had been Abby (Melissa Ordway), but Rey stated he still needed to arrest her because she had committed a crime. As he prepared to put the handcuffs on her, however, Mia stunned him by claiming she was pregnant.
Now, it appears he will believe she is lying to try and save herself because spoilers for the soap reveal that “Mia’s bluff is called.”
Naturally, Mia will now need to do whatever it takes to stall Rey—especially since she is, in fact, not pregnant at all. Though news from the hospital will force the two to table their discussion, it will also likely give Mia an opportunity to work out a plan to convince Rey she is actually telling the truth.
If she can get her hands on a positive pregnancy test somehow, then she could, at least for now, reasonably convince him that she is carrying their child, and it could persuade him to keep her out of jail, since he may not be able to cope with the fact that arresting her would mean he is sending the second woman he has claimed to love recently to prison.
After hearing Mia call Arturo’s (Jason Canela) name during sex, Rey had gone to Sharon (Sharon Case) to confess his love to her. However, that didn’t end well either after he found her cell phone records from the night that JT (Thad Luckinbill) died and the truth finally came out about his death. Knowing he may have to send his wife to jail as well, even for a crime committed against his sister, could push Rey over the edge and force him to keep a secret that could cost him his job.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
