- 25-year-old will join long list of celebs in the Awards Party zone

"Euphoria" actress Zendaya is getting a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London which will be unveiled Friday.
The wax figure features the 25-year-old actress in a hot-pink suit with smokey eye makeup and hair styled in a slicked-back bun. The new wax figure will be placed in the Awards Party zone at the famous wax museum.
"Zendaya just exudes cool. Not only that, she uses her celebrity status to join conversations, thoughtfully on important social issues," Madame Tussauds’ general manager Tim Waters said, as reported by Billboard.
He continued, "She is unapologetically herself – and we, along with her fans, love that about her. With rumours circulating that Zendaya is soon to become a Londoner herself, the timing to pay homage to her at Madame Tussauds London could not be better. We know her fans will be lining up for the chance to ‘meet’ their idol when Zendaya’s figure arrives in our Awards Party zone."
Zendaya’s wax figure was sculpted using measurements and references taken in 2015, the Billboard report noted.
The process of making a Madame Tusssauds wax figure involves taking the different measurements of the subject up to 200 times with hand-held instruments, according to Cnet. Photographs are then shot at every angle and the eyes, hair and skin color are matched with samples to ensure the wax portrayal is 100 percent accurate.
Zendaya recently responded to a statement from Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) claiming that "Euphoria" glorifies teen drug uses.
"Our show is in no way a moral tale to teach people how to live their life or what they should be doing," Zendaya told Entertainment Weekly. "If anything, the feeling behind 'Euphoria' or whatever we have always been trying to do with it, is to hopefully help people feel a little bit less alone in their experience and their pain. And maybe feel like they’re not the only one going through or dealing with what they’re dealing with."
In January, a D.A.R.E. representative told TMZ that the show has erroneously depicted teen drug use saying, "HBO’s television drama, Euphoria, chooses to misguidedly glorify and erroneously depict high school student drug use, addiction, anonymous sex, violence, and other destructive behaviors as common and widespread in today’s world."
