Zoe Saldana Married: Details About Wedding And Husband Marco Perego

After being spotted with a mysterious ring on her wedding finger, it has been confirmed that actress Zoe Saldana is married. The beauty tried to hide the ring earlier this week while out on the town with her husband, Marco Perego, causing speculation that she secretly wed.

A source tells Us Weekly about the June wedding, “It was super-small but very romantic and beautiful.” Saldana and Perego, both 34, wed in London. Though they went public with their relationship in May while vacationing in Capri, they've “known each other for a long time,” the source says.

Perego moved to New York 10 years ago after living in Venice, Italy, to pursue art. His father is a waiter and his mother stays at home.

Prior to focusing his attention on art, Perego was a professional soccer player, earning a spot on Venice’s professional team at age 17. Four years later, a leg injury caused him to rethink his career path, which eventually led to him to pursue art.

Previously, the “Avatar” actress dated actor Bradley Cooper on-and-off for two years before splitting up just before the holidays. Before their high-profile Hollywood split, Saldana and ex-fiance businessman Keith Britton were in a relationship for 11 years before calling it quits in November 2011.
