Amelia Gray Hamlin's Mom Lisa Rinna Played A Role In Scott Disick Split: Report

Amelia Gray Hamlin is not upset with her decision to break up with Scott Disick because her mom, Lisa Rinna, disapproved of their relationship, a report has claimed.

Amelia, 20, and Disick, 38, split over the weekend after his latest Instagram scandal involving his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian. An unnamed source told Us Weekly that Rinna, 58, played a role in the breakup.

"It had a lot to do with how her mom felt about him — she was never a fan," the tipster said.

In one episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Rinna bonded with her daughters Amelia and Delilah Belle, 23. During their chat, while they were looking at Rinna's wedding dress, she said she could see Delilah, who is currently dating Eyal Booker, walking down the aisle. She added that she couldn't say the same to her younger daughter who was still dating Disick at the time.

"Like, why can’t it be Harry Styles? Why the f–k is it Scott Disick?" she jokingly asked Amelia.

On Sunday, a week after shading Disick, Rinna shared a photo of Harry Styles, 27, on Instagram. Makeup artist Michael Anthony commented, "Manifestation WORKS!" Rinna replied, "It does."

Styles is currently dating American actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde, 37.

In another episode, Rinna spoke with her "RHOBH" co-star Erika Jayne and told her that her daughter told her, she and Disick were just friends after their October 2020 outing.

"And then, I guess a couple days ago, Amelia sends me a video of Amelia and Scott on the beach," she said in an episode in June, as per Us Weekly. "It’s a what the f—k moment. You’re like, ‘What the f—k?’ She’s 19. He’s 37 with three kids."

When the news about Disick and Amelia's split made the headlines, Rinna did not hide her joy. She made a savage comment in one report shared on Instagram by leaving a smiling face with smiling eyes emoji.

The insider added that it was Amelia who broke up with Disick and she had no regrets about her decision.

"Amelia felt the relationship was toxic. She broke up with him," the insider added. "She’s not upset about the breakup and feels like she made the right decision."

Amelia has seemingly moved on from her split from Disick. In fact, she just made her first show at New York Fashion Week. Rinna has been supportive of her daughter and shared a clip of Amelia slaying the runway on her Instagram Stories Wednesday.
