Amina Muaddi Addresses Rumor She Had Affair With A$AP Rocky Amid Rihanna's Pregnancy

Amina Muaddi has broken her silence on the "vile" rumor that she had an affair with ASAP Rocky during Rihanna's pregnancy.

On Friday, the shoe designer shared a statement on Twitter addressing the social media explosion that followed a rumor that surfaced Thursday that Rihanna broke up with Rocky after she allegedly caught him cheating on her with Muaddi.

"I've always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn't deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile," wrote Muaddi.

"I initially assumed that this fake gossip — fabricated with such malicious intent — would not be taken seriously. However, in the last 24 [hours], I've been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis and that nothing is off-limits," she continued about the accusation. "Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated times in one's life."

Muaddi, who has previously worked with both the beauty mogul, 34, and the rapper, 33, told her followers that she felt compelled to "speak up" because the accusations were "not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for," including Rihanna.

"While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business — I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend," the designer concluded.

A day before the rumor surfaced, Muaddi, 34, had shared a series of photos of the "Diamonds" singer wearing a pair of her shoes.

Rihanna and Rocky — who are expecting their first baby together — have not addressed the rumor.

However, an unnamed source told TMZ that the cheating and split rumors are "100% false on both counts" and that the couple is doing "fine."

The split rumors spread on Twitter after fashion writer Louis Pisano posted a series of tweets claiming that Rihanna and Rocky broke up after the singer allegedly caught him cheating with Muaddi.

In the since-deleted tweets, Pisano further claimed that "ASAP & Amina is not new though as she was seeing him years ago and also collaborated with him on a collection of shoes. Things apparently hit the fan at [Craig's] in L.A."

Pisano has since apologized for what he called "reckless" tweets.

"Last night, I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received," the fashion writer tweeted Friday. "I'm not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc. because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it."

Earlier this year, Rihanna and Rocky revealed that they're expecting their first child as the singer debuted her baby bump in a New York City photoshoot.

The Fenty Beauty creator opened up about her pregnancy journey and relationship with the rapper during her May 2022 Vogue cover story published Tuesday.

"What I love the most about us? Transparency with everything," Rihanna said of her relationship with Rocky. "How we’re feeling, what our goals are, what our fears and insecurities are. The vulnerability to be able to say what you feel about each other."
