‘Bachelor’ Spinoff To Premiere August 4; Former Contestants Tweet About ‘Bachelor In Paradise’
ABC viewers are very familiar with “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” … but “Bachelor in Paradise”? The network is introducing a brand new series this summer and fans of the dating show definitely won’t want to miss it.
In a special six-episode-long arc beginning on Monday, Aug. 4, fans will get to see some of the biggest stars and villains from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” return to the small screen. But what will they be doing? Fighting for a second chance at finding their soul mates!
According to a press release for the new series, the “Bachelor in Paradise” contestants will be moving into an “isolated romantic paradise” to “explore new romantic relationships.” But it of course won’t be all fun and games. Viewers can expect “new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in ‘Bachelor’ history.”
So, who will be appearing on the “Bachelor” spinoff? The cast has yet to be announced, but some former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants have definitely been Twitter-happy about the new series:
“Bachelor in Paradise” will be replacing the former “Bachelor” spinoff, “Bachelor Pad,” which was canceled in March 2013 after three seasons. The new show will be premiering after Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette” concludes. What “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” stars from previous seasons do you want to see return?
