Billy Ray Cyrus Defends Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Spring Break Behavior; Says Miley Cyrus' Boyfriend Is 'A Good Boy'

Billy Ray Cyrus is not at all bothered by daughter Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend’s recent behavior in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Rumors began swirling that Miley had dumped Patrick Schwarzenegger after photos surfaced showing him getting close to a mystery brunette during spring break. The 21-year-old denied the cheating allegations on Twitter, saying the girl in question was a friend. Still, suggestive Instagram posts from Miley left fans buzzing. Despite the rumors, it appears Miley – and her family – have decided to forgive and forget.

TMZ caught up with Billy Ray to discuss Schwarzenegger’s behavior and, surprisingly, he seemed totally OK with it. The 53-year-old singer brushed off the rumors.

“He had fun,” he told the site while getting in his car to drive off. “He’s a good boy.”

Miley and Schwarzenegger have since been spotted together, leaving no lingering doubt that they’ve decided to make things work. The couple was seen kissing and holding hands while out for a sushi dinner in Studio City, California, March 23. Sources say although they are still very much a couple, Schwarzenegger is on a bit of a probationary period. While Miley has not taken the time to address the scandal directly, an insider says she was bothered by the photos.

“She’s not happy with him,” the source told Us Weekly.

A major contributor to her silence could, however, be the fact that the 23-year-old simply has other things on her mind. Miley has since gone under the knife – at the oral surgeon, that is. She recently shared a photo on Instagram, revealing that she’d had five teeth removed. She later posted a selfie, showing off her swollen cheeks and gauze-filled mouth, telling fans she was “f---king mizzy.” According to later posts, she was “in da best handzzzz” as she recovered with friends Cheyne Thomas and Stella Maxwell taking care of her. Her mom, Tish Cyrus, also dropped by to make sure she was doing well. Miley Cyrus did not mention Patrick Schwarzenegger being part of the team helping her recover.
