Blake Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, has opened up about her anxiety amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the people around the world are advised to stay at home. However, some find it challenging to isolate themselves from the others and the global crisis only adds more weight to those who are battling anxiety.
Lambert took to Instagram and shared how she spends her time while quarantining with her husband Brendan McLoughlin.
“I haven’t really known what to say on social media during all this. I’m not great at socials anyway and a time like this makes it that much more difficult for me to figure out how to be. Tuesday of this week is when I finally realized I could unpack,” Lamber wrote.
The “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer has cut her Wildcard tour short and announced her schedule in the upcoming months.
“For the next few months for me there are no shows, no sound checks, no bus calls, no flights. Just home. Once I processed it, I actually got a feeling of peace even though , like all of us, my anxiety about the sate of the world right now is still through the roof,” she continued.
Lamber said that she has already started working on some projects around their farm that she kept running from before because she had to leave for work. She is also enjoying her “cool virtual happy hours” with her friends and family.
At home, she and McLoughlin cook, clean and work out together using virtual classes. They also bond with their dogs and horses.
She also announced that she has written a few songs for the first time in a year. Lambert added that she missed her road family and shared a snap of the box she received from her mom and dad who are 600 miles away with a short but sweet message that read “ending love from home. love mom and dad (be safe).”
“I do feel safe now knowing that even though they are over 600 miles away I’m connected to all of them. Sending light to all the first responders and health care workers. Stay home. Call home,” Lambert concluded.
In related news, her husband already resigned from his job as New York City police officer. He is now a member of Lambert’s security team.
Meanwhile, Lambert’s ex-husband is currently dating Gwen Stefani. In February, there were rumors Shelton and Stefani already split, but they debunked the speculations when the “Hollaback Girl” straddled Shelton on stage after he made a surprise appearance at her concert in Las Vegas.
