‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Katie Attempts To Prove Her Innocence To Eric

She previously held a gun at Quinn when she became emotional over being fired, but now that she’s being accused of actually making an attempt on the other woman’s life, Katie will be forced to kick things into high gear when it comes to her own defense on the Monday, June 12 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

After Quinn (Rena Sofer) fired her from Forrester at Eric’s (John McCook) request, Katie (Heather Tom) started to lose control and eventually grabbed a hold of Charlie’s (Dick Christie) unloaded gun on the CBS soap. She pointed it at Quinn, but the situation was eventually calmed down. The next day however, while Quinn was at home on the patio, a bullet came crashing into the Forrester Mansion, just barely missing her head. Considering their recent history, and the fact that the bullet came from the direction of Katie’s house next door, she immediately accused Katie of taking the shot.

Since then, Katie has been taken in to the police station for questioning, and has also had tests run to see if she had gunpowder residue or anything else left on her hands from potentially trying to shoot at Quinn. Though she maintains her innocence, Katie has been noticeably nervous about the tests. Now, when Eric also shows up at the station to demand answers about why she may have tried to kill his wife, she will be forced to try and defend herself to her longtime friend.

“I just can’t believe that I’m having to defend myself to you,” she says in a preview clip. “You’ve known me my whole life! I’m not violent, no matter how frustrated or upset that I get.”

While Eric may admit that he knows this isn’t like Katie, he could also feel compelled to believe his wife, and the fact that Quinn genuinely seemed scared of her. However, he may also try to see if Katie will give him answers as to why things seem to have gotten so bad between the two of them lately.

What Eric doesn’t know is that Katie is keeping a secret for Quinn and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about their affair, which was the real reason Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) called off her wedding to Ridge and married Bill (Don Diamont) instead. Katie has used the secret to her advantage, often blackmailing Quinn and Ridge both to get things she wants, but it has been wearing on her.

Though he will give her a prime chance to tell him the truth about what’s going on though, Katie likely won’t tell Eric the real reason why things have become so tense between she and Quinn. However, she may not need to worry about proving her innocence much longer if Quinn calls Eric to inform him of what she found out since he left.

Quinn looked over and saw a woman in Katie’s house, and assumed it was her, back from the police station and able to potentially harm her again. However, when she went over there, she was stunned to instead see none other than Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). And while Quinn doesn’t know her or what she’s capable of, both Eric and Katie certainly will.
